Petite Fours

Petit fours are a perfect way to finish a special afternoon tea.  Even these can be made healthier and just as delicious as the traditionally high calorific, sugar or fatty petite fours.

A petit four is simply a tiny bite-sized confectionery or a savoury appetiser.  The name is French, petit four, meaning “small oven”.   A petite four can be made with many healthier ingredients such as fruits (fresh or dried), yoghurt, chocolate (just a little) and nuts, to name a few.
