Italian-styled Easter Afternoon Tea Menu

In Italy, Easter is celebrated with vibrant family meals and regional food traditions.  Traditional sweet treats like Colomba di Pasqua, a dove-shaped cake or Italian Lemon Ricotta Cake are popular.  Not everything is sweet, there is savoury traditional Easter fayre as well, such as Casatiello Napoletano, stuffed Easter bread and torta pasqualina, a savoury pie with spinach and ricotta, are holiday favourites.

Children also enjoy special Easter cookies such as Cudduraci, an Italian Easter Egg Cookie, and Lemon Amaretti cookies.  Popular children’s activities include attending festive parades, egg hunts for children, and enjoying open-air fairs.
